Coffee is for Closers
Over the last three years I have worked pretty closely with a company my sister and brother-in-law started doing media marketing and video production for small business’s. Most recently they have been working with one of the top agents for Keller Williams, Eric Forney, on developing his presence in the content creation scene. He has recently decided to start a podcast so I have been helping advise them on equipment, production techniques, and also working as their editor to make sure they get the best sound possible from their recordings. We are currently compiling content for official release but here is a short excerpt from one of those episodes.
Coffee is for Closers Excerpt:
Sleeper Wire Podcast Network
During spring of 2018 I received an e-mail from a professor who had met a gentlemen that ran a podcast network centered around fantasy football. They needed somebody to join their team in order to pick up some editing and production slack, I responded with my information and a link to my personal podcast “The Obscurious Mind” that I was producing at the time. One thing led to another and I found myself editing for JonMichael, a fun client that ran a podcast titled Dynasty Wire. Over the last year I have stepped in and done editing for him, some minor voice work, and just provided my skills in cleaning up his podcasts to make them sound coherent and increase their flow.

The Obscurious Mind
During my senior year of college I decided I wanted to start a podcast concerning the inner wanderings of my 22 year old mind. This experience taught me an incredible amount about the back end of podcasting learning all about hosting, distribution, and podcast writing itself. All facets of the podcast I created, from the logo, to the introduction music, to all social media pages and different outlets. It ended up being a ten episode series that largely focused on the things I had learned in therapy over the previous four years. In general starting and producing this series made me realize how much I enjoyed working in that field and is what inspired me to start pushing my career in that direction.
